American Farmland Trust’s Profiles in Stewardship
Morris Grassfed is honored to be among many friends and colleagues in California’s agricultural community as one of 45 case studies in the new book Profiles in Stewardship: How California Farmers and Ranchers Are Producing a Better Environment. Published in January 2014 by the American Farmland Trust, the book showcases “outstanding examples of environmental stewardship by California farmers and ranchers,” according to AFT California Director Edward Thompson, Jr.
“If offers proof that agricultual producers in our state care about the environment and are taking affirmative steps to enhance it. And it demonstrates the potential for building the California brand among consumers who increasingly care about how thier food is produced as well as about its quality and cost.”
