Swiss Steak

(A quick and delicious meal for working parents!)

 

2 lbs. Morris Grassfed Beef

2Tablespoon. flour

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon each of salt, pepper, paprika, dry mustard (mixed together)

¼ cup vegetable oil

3 Tablespoons butter

½ cup chopped onion

1 clove garlic, pressed

¾ cup water

3 Tablespoons soy sauce

3Tablespoons brown sugar

¾ cup sour cream

1 bag Stroganoff noodles

 

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Cut meat into serving size pieces. Dust with flour and pound with meat mallet. Sprinkle with paprika mixture. Heat oil in large, deep skillet. Add butter. Sear steak on one side. Add onion, garlic, water, soy sauce, brown sugar and sour cream. Stir to blend. Cover and bake 30-45 minutes until tender. Serve over cooked noodles. Serves 6.
